New UsersPrintable

Have the Assignor hand New Users. The Administrator should handle new coaches.
  • New Referees (little guy icon with black striped shirt) – Assuming no error messages occur when processing them
    • Click on first 3 letters of the last name
    • Find the new user and click on the gold key to give them a Ridgestar UID
    • Click on the Washington state icon to download the user's referee certification from the state database
    • Edit the user, go to the Assignor tab and set the user’s referee and AR ranks
    • Go back to "Users" and click the "Handshake" icon to send the "Welcome" email
    • Copy the user's email address (displayed when the "Welcome" email is sent)
    • Send the attached email to the new referee
  • New Coach (no little guy) – Assuming no error messages occur when processing them
    • Click on first 3 letters of the last name
    • Find the new user and copy last name
    • Go to Administrator: Manage: Teams
    • Paste the last name into "Comments" and click "Show"
    • Find the team for this coach and click the number for this team in the "Key" column
    • Past the last name into one of the Coach(es) boxes and then choose this coach from the dropdown
    • Click "Update" to set this coach with this team
    • Go back to "Users" and click the "Handshake" icon to send the "Welcome" email
